Q:What are you studying at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business and when do you plan to graduate?
A:The D’Amore-McKim School of Business offers a wide range of programs, my choice was to be enrolled in the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and I graduated in May 2017.
Q:What skills are you building at D’Amore-McKim that you will use in your future career?
A:This experience has not only allowed me to grow professionally but also personally. Today, I am definitely proud of the person I have become. I have acquired so many skills that naming them can go on and on! But if there is one thing that I would like to share is that I AM READY, ready to go out and explore the world. D’Amore-McKim has challenged me enough to make me strong, ambitious and a risk taker.
Q:Why did you choose D’Amore-McKim?
A:I moved to Boston and joined D’Amore-McKim first because of its reputation and teaching quality. Second, I wanted to embrace a whole new world and learn how to deal with different cultures and face new challenges. Being at Northeastern was a great opportunity to work on many projects with my team and to realize the importance of being motivated and supporting others. And let me tell you that I have made the right choice; I couldn’t be happier or more grateful to each member of the university and each professor.
Q:What would you say to a prospective student considering D’Amore-McKim for their business degree?
A:Congratulations you have made the right call!
If anyone has been accepted to this program, it simply means that he/she is special and that the school believes in his/her competencies. My advice would be to fully enjoy this experience and to get everything they can out of this opportunity. It s once in a lifetime chance to learn from the best, to be involved in different communities and to meet people from all around the world! Also to make sure to take into considerations all the advantages that the program provides for instance eligibility to apply for a part time or full time MBA program, OPT and many other.
Q:Where do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years?
A:Today, I am launching my own business back home. All I can say is – remember the name Racha Ladhari. I am so excited about the future and have so many plans to innovate and make the business bigger and I am 100% confident about my success.
Q:How has D’Amore-McKim helped you?
A:I would’ve been able to stay in Tunisia and work in our family business for a good income and a steady life but deep down I knew that in order to make great accomplishments, I needed to learn from the best. D’Amore-Mckim has contributed today to growing a strong, knowledgeable, young women able to make changes and to succeed so I can’t thank you enough!
